For those who wonder why the name of CheTica Ranch, O.K. here we go:
"Che" is used by Argentines as a friendly greeting like American use: What's up "MAN" or "BUDDY" or "BUD" or "BRO"
"Tica" is a term used to name Costarricans by all Cental Americans, because they are known to talk with lots of diminutives and by adding this ending to their words is precisely the way costarricans are called. And being that Lorena is female, "TICA" is related to her.

On occasion, visitors to Costa Rica for these surgical procedures feel some anxieties or stress - natural feelings for recovering patients. - Please keep in consideration that, when you come to CheTica Ranch you'll find yourself in a true ranch surrounded by forest and rivers in an 80 acres, piece of paradise, you will not be confined to a room in a big house and you are not going to be breathing contaminated city air, your recovery will be as important as your surgery and we, at CheTica have a Commitment to Excellence, added to our pride on the business for over 10 years to guarantee a perfect harmony between, nature, your recovery and our service, while spending your days with us!!!!. Garments and Bandages as needed.
- Every single cottage has it's own Cable TV / DVD, with over 65 channels, including CNN, HBO, ESPN, Sony, CBS and many more. Hot Water Shower and your private bathroom Music system and CD player Mountain Spring Bottled Water Coffee Maker Microwave Refrigerator Wood Burning Fireplace for those chilly nights!! 3 delicious home made meals plus tropical fruits and juices, vegetarian dishes available by request!!
- Mid-afternoon tea/coffee and cookies. Attentive, competent and special post/operative care!! Registered Nurse on premises, with over 40 years experience, Carmen, Lorena's Mom!!
- Local transportation to and from primary care Doctor's office and Clinic for patients.

- Lymphatic ($20 )and Total Body Massages ($60) by Magda, our Professional Therapist, actually teaching her classes in our C.R. University with over 20 years of experience.
